Extra Lives:

World 1-1: Play until you pass the 4th tube, the one before the drop off. There is a hill in the backround, and in between the left side of the hill, and the middle, jump. There should be an invisible block with an extra life coming out. This is basic and I’m sure most people, if not all, knew it.

World 1-2: Play game, and as a landmark, you should reach blocks forming a sort of ‘W’ shape. Keep playing and you will reach blocks that form an ‘L’ shape, with a single coin on it. Again, go past this and jump from the line of blocks to the right of it, jump over the drop off, BUT jump onto the group of blocks floating in the air. walk to the very last block on it, and jump. An extra life should have came out of the block above it. Just keep following it, and when you reach the platforms, jump over, and collect your life as it falls. Don’t be in too much of a hurry though, because if you let the ‘life mushroom’ out of the screen for too long, it will disappear, no matter how long you wait.. it won’t come.

Warping:

To worlds 2,3,or 4 from level 1-2: I’m starting off at the end of [extra life-level 1-2].. So, after you jump the first platforms, you will reach another set of platforms. Jump onto one of them, and keep going up. Super jump onto the top bricks and keep walking to your right. Eventually you will enter the ‘Warp Zone’. Pick which world you want to go in, and have fun!

To Worlds 6, 7, or 8 from level 4-2: Play and eventually you will reach a set of platforms. Jump across, and there should be a set of 3 blocks somewhere above you. Under the farthest block to your right, jump. Do the same under the second block. MAKE SURE NOT TO DO IT UNDER THE THIRD IF YOU ARE SUPER MARIO! [note: if you are small mario you cannot reach this invisible block.] So now you have discovered 2 invisible blocks. Go to the left of the blocks and jump. There should now be 3 invisible blocks you have uncovered. jump up onto the first block you hit, then get up onto the second one. hit the block right above you that was originally there. a vine should come up. Climb up onto that vine and it will take you to a mushroom world with only coins. collect the coins if you wish, and follow the world until it takes you to a warping zone. Here, you can chose if you wanna try out level 6, 7 or 8.

Become little fire Mario.

This can be done on any Koopa level. Easiest level for this cheat to be done on is probably level 1-4. You gotta be fire Mario in order to do this. It’s all about timing for this trick. You gotta get between the axe the drops Koopa and Koopa himself. Do not touch the axe yet. Ok what you do for this trick is to touch the axe and Koopa at the same time. If you did this correctly you will turn into regular Mario but he’ll slide to Toad. When you start the next level be sure not to touch any enemies or else you’ll die. Get a mushroom and you’ll shrink into lil Mario. Get a flower and you’ll turn into lil fire Mario.

n the 1st and second underground world when you reach the moving platforms that go upwards, jump on one and stay on it until you are level with the top line of bricks. Then jump from the platform ho the bricks . When you are on top keep moving past the pipe that takes you aboveground. eventually you will arrive at worp zone!

the cheat for level 1-2 does take you to a negative world but you can’t beat the level and time just runs out and you die
